This is a classic helmet originally designed by George Swindell! Called the model 2000 this fiberglass helmet is one of the first designed to cover the entire head. Helmets like this one would lead to the end of the copper and brass era of diving. The model 2000 could originally be ordered with a breastplate but few were ordered. This specific helmet does have one of these difficult to find breastplates along with its standard neck ring. The helmet also comes with its straps, replacement windows, original manual, various replacements and neck ring parts. The fiberglass body of the helmet is in excellent used condition. This piece would be an excellent display or could be refurbished and put in the water again!
