Nation's Attic's second auction of 2022 was a great success! By following this link you can view the entire sale. The live online auction took take place on Saturday, July 16th, 2022.
This exciting auction featured over 40 authentic diving helmets ranging from the late 19th Century to the 1980s. Antique and vintage helmets made by Siebe Gorman, A.J. Morse & Son, Miller Dunn, A. Schrader's Son, Diving Equipment & Salvage Co, Snead, Galeazzi, TOA, Petit are just some that will be selling. Helmets made in Korea, Japan, and Russia will are also featured. Some early and unusual fiberglass helmets made by R. Kirby, Kirby Morgan, Advanced Diving, and Al Krasberg will also be selling at no reserve. Diving knives by Morse, Schrader, DESCO, Ka-Bar, Bomar, Galeazzi, and Siebe Gorman will be going to new collections. A desirable Hamilton Canteen US Navy issued watch from WWII in excellent condition is a special item also selling. Related deep sea diving equipment such as air pumps, helmet tools, boots, gloves, dive dresses, special weights and more were available! Lastly, vintage SCUBA diving equipment is also popular and represented nicely in this sale. Three rare Johnson multi-barrel spearguns should make a big splash. Hard to find double hose regulators made by US Divers, Viking, Voit, DACOR, Healthways and Northill to name a few are available for bidding. New old stock scuba equipment in the box are interesting treasures just found. A prized and possibly complete publishers green bound run of complete Skin Diver Magazine from 1951 to 1966 will be offered.
