This is an excellent example of the famed US Navy Mark V diver’s knife. This one was made by Morse Diving Equipment when they were in Rockland, MA. During this time Morse was stamping the brass sheath with their name, location, and image of a Morse diving helmet, making these unique.

This knife has never been in the water. The brass sheath has developed a nice patina over the years. The knife blade, wood handle, and brass hardware all appear just as they did when this knife was shipped from the Morse factory. Original leather belt strap is present and also in great condition. 
 
Mark V knives are interesting conversation pieces by themselves and an excellent accessory next to a Mark V helmet.
