Iconic diving helmet made by Advanced Diving Equipment Company. The helmet was invented by George Swindell and became very popular with divers around the world, hence the common name given to them, the Swindell helmet. The helmet retains the original blue paint on the fiberglass body. Serial #327 is present on the inside. Please refer to the photos for the overall condition. This helmet has seen a lot of jobs in the past but is ready for restoration or enjoyment as is.
Originally this model 2000 was used to teach students at Divers Training Academy in Ft. Pierce, FL. After it was part of many student’s introduction to commercial diving, it was put on display in the corporate offices of a diving company.
The helmet, in the last few years, has received a new neck ring, neck dam, jock cables, and snap-hooks, a new one-way valve, a new faceplate, and an upper view port plate. The air intake control and exhaust valves have been serviced and rebuilt where needed. Nearly two thousand dollars was put into the helmet's functional restoration.
The helmet is being sold as a display piece and should not be used until properly inspected by a certified company.

This COA will have a serial # on it that will match the # on a tamperproof holographic decal placed on the inside of the helmet.
