This is a classic US Navy divers knife, historically paired with the Mark V helmet. Produced by Bomar Corporation during World War II, this example features a brass sheath stamped "MFD BY BOMAR CORP PITTSBURG PA."
 
Due to a smaller production run compared to other manufacturers, Bomar knives are less common and highly sought after by collectors. The brass sheath is in excellent condition with a consistent patina, and the stainless steel blade is sharp and free of rust. The wood handle and brass hardware are also in great condition.
