Here is a unique opportunity to own an original Bob Kirby-designed Yokohama air helmet with known provenance. This was the daily working hat of a journeyman diver and was maintained to the highest degree for safety. It was the diver's own helmet:- not one from a company diving locker. It has minor dings and scratches from years of careful professional use and retains the character of a working helmet that has seen service around the world. It was maintained in excellent working condition and customized by the owner with stainless steel screws securing the exhaust retaining yoke. The Quitner air control valve, BTE exhaust valve, non-return valve, and spring-loaded locking device all function correctly. The screw-in view ports are in very good condition, and the manufacturer's plaque is undamaged and clear.  The bonnet and breastplate separate with ease. The helmet is complete, with the speaker awaiting connecting to a comms wire. The Yokohama company details are clearly stamped in the braille’s and the hand-formed planishing hammer marks are still visible on the helmet exterior. All diving helmets sold by Nation’s Attic will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nations Attic. The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet.
