SATURDAY OCTOBER 31 2020

This was our biggest auction for 2020 held on Halloween Saturday, October 31st, 2020. The sale featured 400 lots all selling at NO reserve.

The antique diving helmets were the stars of the show, with all examples featuring strong bidding. A 19th Century helmet made by John Date in Canada received the highest bid, at $21,600. A specality of Nation's Attic is the famed US Navy Mark V helmet. The Halloween sale had no less than 4 Mark V's plus a breastplate from 1944. The results for each helmet ranged from $16,200 for a 1918 example to $9,000 for a 1944 model.  Other antique and vintage helmets in the auction included ones made by A.J. Morse & Son, A. Schrader's Son, Joe Savoie and Miller Dunn.

The sale also included rare diving watches, knives, books, early scuba equipment, antique diving tools, UDT & Navy SEAL memorabilia and more.
